RESOLUTION NO. 87-7
CITY OF HOPKINS
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP87-2
WHEREAS, an applica tion for a Condi tional Use Permi t
entitled CUP87-2, has been made by Accent Engraving, 1600
Second Street South, to locate a sign in a lesser setback
than required.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is
as follows:
1. That an application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP87-2f was filed with the City of Hopkins on
December 31, 1986.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed
such application on January 27, 1987.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant
to published and mailed notices, held a public
hearing on January 27 , 1987; all persons
present at the hearing were given an
opportunity to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the
City Staff and the Planning Commission were
considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins Ci ty
Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to
CUP87-2:
1. The proposed signage meets the requirements
for the 1-1 District..
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for CUP87-2 is
hereby approved subject to the following conditions:
1. That the applicant remove all other signs.
