RESOLUTION NO.87-20
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.87-15 of the Council
adopted February 17, 1987, a report has been prepared by
Gordon Anderson, Director of Engineering, with reference to
the improvement of 7th Avenue North between railroad right
of way and 1st Street North by the installation of mid block
street lighting thereon and this report was received by the
Q
Council on March 3, 1987
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such
street in accordance with the report and the assessment of
Lots 13 thru 19 inclusive, Block 65 and Lots 1 thru 5
inclusive, Block 66, all in West Minneapolis Second Division
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $3,230; and will
further consider the market value before and after said
improvement, of the property affected thereby.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on the 21st day of April, 1987 in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the
Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, this 3rd day of March, 1987.
