RESOLUTION NO: 07-35
CITY OF HOPKINS
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
WAIVER OF PLATTING REQUIREMENTS WVR87-1
WHEREAS, an application for a Waiver of the
Platting Requirements WVR87-1, to divide Lots 3,4 & 5,
Block 1, Uppal's Addition, has been made by Sohan Uppal, for
the purpose of constructing a four family dwelling on each
lot.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application
is as follows:

1. That an application for Waiver of the Platting
Requirements WVR87-1, was filed with the City of
Hopkins on March 12, 1987.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed such
application on March 31, 1987.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to
mailed notices, held a pUblic hearing on March 31,
1987; all persons present at the hearing were
given an opportunity to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the City
Staff and the Planning Commission were considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins
City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect
to WVR87-1:
1. That the subject lots meet the minimum lot
requirements for an R-2 District.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for
Waiver of the Platting Requirements WVR87-1 is hereby
approved subject to the following Condition:
1. That the Waiver of the Plat is accepted by the
Hennepin County Recorder.
