RESOLUTION NO: 87- 56
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A VARIANCE
FROM STATE AID STANDARDS
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins is interested in
improving Munioipal State Aid Street 346 (11th Avenue South)
by the installation of a railroad separation bridge and by
the widening and improvement of the street surfaoe from 5th
Street South (MSAS 354) to south of 6th Street South (MSAS
354), and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Rules for State Aid Operation,
Chapter 8820.9913 olassify this seotion of roadway as High
Density Arterial from the present and projeoted traffio, and

WHEREAS, Minnesota Rules for State Aid Operations,
Chapter 8820.9912 standard requires a street width of 52
feet for this classification, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins desires a varianoe
from that standard to install a 48 foot wide street within
the oonstruotion limits.
