RESOLUTION NO. 87-64
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ELRUE DUNSMORE
FOR 25+ YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF HOPKINS
WHEREAS, Elrue Dunsmore has worked for the ci ty of
Hopkins part time from September of 1960 to
July of 1962, and full time from July of 1962
until his retirement on June 30, 1987,

WHEREAS, Elrue began his employment as a laborer in
the Parks Department and was promoted to Park
Superintendent on September 29, 1968, and
WHEREAS, under his superv~s~on the Hopkins parks
system has flourished and they present a
positive image of Hopkins, and
WHEREAS, the City council wishes to recognize Elrue's
dedication and outstanding service to the
community,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City
Council hereby commends Elrue Dunsmore for
his over twenty five years of service to the
City of Hopkins, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon his retirement, he
be presented with this Resolution as a
demonstration of the City's sincere
appreciation.
