RESOLUTION NO. 87-72
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, certain improvements, all as more fully described
in Exhibit A hereto attached a~d hereby made a part hereof have
been previously ordered and completed:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows:
o
1. That the cost of each such improvement to be specially
assessed is hereby declared to be the cost of the amount to be
assessed, whichever is greater, which appears in said Exhibit A.
2. That the City Clerk, with the assistance of Director of
Engineering, forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
specially assessed for each such improvement against every
assessed piece or parcel of land within the various districts or

locations affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided
by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessments in
his office for public inspection.
The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed
assessments, notify the Council thereof.

1. Deferred assessment of Project 82-10 street construction
including curb and gutter on Smetana Road (11th Street
South) from 11th Avenue South to the west City limits, for
Lot 1, Block 1, Hills of Oakwood (P.I.D. 25-117-22 33 0005)
total cost, including interest to October 1, 1987, being
$11,872.63.

2. Deferred assessment of Project 82-12 Street lighting on
Smetana Road (11th Street South) from 11th Avenue South to
the west City limits, for Lot 1, Block 1, Hills of Oakwood
(P.I.D. 25-117-22 33 0005) total cost, including interest to
October 1, 1987, being $3,507.62.

3. Deferred assessment of Project 82-13 Bridge construction on
Smetana Road (11th Street South) by the installation,
landscaping and lighting of a secondary road - pedestrian
underpass bridge, for Lot 1, Block 1, Hills of Oakwood
(P.I.D. 25-117-22 33 0005) total cost, including interest to
October 1, 1987, being $6,155.36)
4. Sewer connection for property at 4 1/2 East st. Albans, Lot
3, Block 1, Bellgrove (P.r.D. 13-117-22 21 0005) total cost
being $5,168.93.

5. Water connection for property at 4 1/2 East st. Albans, Lot
3, Block 1, Bellgrove (P.I.D. 13-117-22 21 0005) total cost
being $3,970.19.
6. Street improvement for property at 4 1/2 East st. Albans,
Lot 3, Block 1, Bellgrove (P.r.D. 13-117-22 21 0005) total
cost being $2,866.98. .
7. Project 87-05 The installation of fire protection sprinkler
system at 804-806-808 Mainstreet, the total cost for the
project being $15,966.30 and the area proposed to be
assessed being Lot 5, Block 4, West Minneapolis (P.I.D. 24-
117-22 43 0099).
8. Tree removal at 630-10th Avenue South, Lot 8, Block 58, West
MinneapOlis (P.r.D. 25-117-22 24 0052), total cost being
$816.00.

9. Destruction of weeds at 2012 Mainstreet (Pines Mobile Home
Community), Com at a pt in the ctr line of 19th Ave. dis 689

Excelsior Avenue East (Richard Holt), That part of Lot 6
lying NEly of a line running from a pt 30 ft E of SW cor in
the S line of said lot to the NW cor thereof and Lots 7 to
12 incl in Blk 9 Andersons 1st Addn to st. Louis Park and
Lots 87, 88 and 89 in Auditors Subdivision No. 239, Hennepin
Co., Minnesota ex road, Block 9 Andersons 1st addition to
St. Louis Park (P.I.D. 19-117-21 42 0004), total cost being
$99.00.
11. Delinquent utility bills at the following locations:
1. 17 8th Avenue South (Burschs), Lots 44 and 45 also the
N 30 ft of Lot 43, Block 3, West Minneapolis (P.I.D. 24-
117-22 43 0093), total cost being $1,513.00.
