RESOLUTION 87-74
CITY OF HOPKINS
, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins , Minnesota and the County of
Hennepin have in effect a Joint Cooperation Agreement, County Contract No.
40432 , for the purposes of qualifying as an Urban County under the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block
Grant program; and
o
WHEREAS, the City and the County wish to terminate the Agreement and execute a
new Joint Cooperation Agreement, County Contract No. 70474 , to reconsti-
tute the Urban County for purposes of the Community Development Block Grant
program.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the current Joint Cooperation Agreement between the City
and the County, County Contract No. 40432 , be tenminated effective Sep-
tember 30, 1987, and a new Joint Cooperation Agreement between the City and
the County, County Contract No. 70474., be executed effective October 1,
1987, and that the Mayor and the City MnnnQPr be authorized to sign
the Agreement on behalf of the City.
The question was on the adoption of the resolution, and upon a vote being duly
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: t~i'ibwrt, SJ1irley, Anderson,

None.
WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th
