RESOLUTION NO: 87-91
CITY OF HOPKINS
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP87-25
WHEREAS, an application for a Conditional Use
Permit entitled CUP87-25 has been made by st. Therese Care
Center, Inc., 1011 Feltl Court, to locate a sign with a
lesser setback and larger than permitted by ordinance.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application
is as follows:

1. That an application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP87-25 was filed with the City of Hopkins on
September 4, 1987.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed such
application on September 29, 1987.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to
published and mailed notices, held a public
hearing on September 29, 1987; all persons present
at the hearing were given an opportunity to be
heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the City
Staff and the Planning Commission were considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins
City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect
to CUP87-25:
1. That the size of the sign and its location are
appropriate with the use and size of the property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for
Conditional Use Permit CUP87-25 is hereby approved subject 0
the following Conditions:
1. That the sign is setback 20 feet from Feltl Court
and 10 feet from Smetana Road.
