RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT AUTHORIZING ST. LOUIS PARK USE OF HOPKINS
SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES ALONG EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
ITS EXECUTION THEREOF

WHEREAS, The City of St. Louis Park has determined that
its sanitary sewer facilities are incapable of providing
necessary sevice to the following described service area:
That part of Morse Industrial Subdivision lying westerly and
northerly of Powell Road;
with:
Together
that part of Section 20, Township 117 NOrth, Range 21 West
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the north line of
Powell Road with the southwesterly line of the new Minnehaha
Creek bed, thence northwesterly along said southwesterly line to a
point 153.25 feet southeasterly from the southeasterly line of
the railroad right-of-way, thence south 280 25' west a distance
of 51.37 feet, thence on a tangential curve to the left having a
rtadius of 488.34 feet to the north line of Powell Road thence
east to the point of beginning;
Together with;
that part of Section 20, Township 117 North, Range 21 West
described as:
The west 468.6 feet of the north 400.0 feet of the south 688.8
feet of the southeast 1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of said Section
20, Township 117 North, Range 21 West, except road; and
WHEREAS, The Ci ties of St. Louis Park and Hopkins have
determined that existing sanitary sewer facilities under the
jurisdiction of the City of Hopkins are capable of providing
necessary service to said Service Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Hopkins, Minesota, that the agreement authorizing St.
Louis Park use of Hopkins sanitary sewer facilities along
Excelsior Boulevard is hereby approved, and that the Mayor and
City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name of the City of Hopkins.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins on November19th,
1985.
