RESOLUTION NO. 85-3226
CITY OF HOPKINS
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION
FOR VARIANCE VN-85-54
WHEREAS, an application for a Variance entitled VN-85-
54 has been made by Dale Egberg, 630 - 11th Avenue South, to
construct an office building at less than the minimum lot
width.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is
as follows:
o
1, That an application for Variance VN-85-54 was filed
with the City of Hopkins on October 11, 1985.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed such
application on October 29, 1985.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to
mailed notices, held a public hearing on October 29, 1985;
all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity
to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the City
Staff and the Planning Commission were considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City
Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to
VN-85-54:

1. That the site will consist of two platted lots.
2. Variance is mitigated by the site exceeding the
m1n1mum square footage required by Ordinance.
3. That the site is constrained by the shape of the
lots, which creates a hardship.
