Storm Ready City Designation
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins will be designated a Storm Ready City
WHEREAS, The StormReady program encourages communities to take a
proactive approach to improving local hazardous weather operations
WHEREAS, Storm Ready provide s detailed and clear recommendation s which
will help loc al emergency managers establish and improve effective hazardous
weather operations
WHEREAS, StormReady Designation Provides an image incentive to
communities, which once recognized, can identify themselves as being
StormReady
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Hopkins Mayor and City
Council Designate the City Of Hopkins as a Storm Ready City.
