MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, February 15, 2011
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 10:00 pm. Present were
Mayor Maxwell and Council Members Brausen, Halverson, Youakim,
Rowan, City Manager Getschow, Finance Director Harkess, Assistant City
Manager Genellie, Police Chief Reynolds, and Planning & Economic
Development Director Elverum
• City Council and city staff discussed planning for the State of the City
event to occur on Tuesday, February 22nd.
• City Council members discussed the Citizens Academy event that will
be beginning on Thursday, March 3rd.
• City Manager Getschow stated that he and Mayor Maxwell will be
going to a meeting at Hennepin County with other city Mayors and
Managers to discuss a public safety communications center feasibility
study.
• City Council discussed the process for the replacement of a City
Manager.
With no further business, a motion was made by Youakim, seconded by
Brausen to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The
meeting was adjourned at 11:02 pm.
