MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, March 1, 2011
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:15 pm. Present were
Mayor Maxwell and Council Members Brausen, Halverson, Youakim,
Assistant City Manager Jim Genellie and City Manager Getschow
OTHER:
• City Manager Getschow stated that the Citizen Academy will be
starting on Thursday, March 3rd. Council members discussed their
presence at the sessions and the meetings at which they will be
introduced.
• City Council discussed the process for hiring a new City Manager.
Interviews with potential search firms will take place on March 22nd.
The entire process will most likely go into July.
With no further business, a motion was made by Brausen, seconded by
Youakim to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The
meeting was adjourned at 8:55 pm.
