AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, July 5, 2011
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:35 p.m. Present were Mayor Maxwell and
Council Members Brausen, Halverson, Rowan, Youakim, and Acting City Manager Jim
Genellie.
Council Member Youakim said that she would like some more discussion regarding the
business uses allowed in a mixed use zoning district in the Blake Road area.
Council Member Halverson wanted information about who owned the land between White
Castle & Holiday? She also asked about when Pizza Luce would refurbish the former Oasis
gas station lot and that there were weeds around the Pizza Luce site. Mr. Genellie said that
he would look into this.
Council Member Brausen said that there were problems with sidewalk drainage along 8`h
Avenue. Mr. Genellie said that he would have Mr. Stadler look into it.
Mayor Maxwell spoke briefly about the visit from a Ukrainian delegation in September. He
asked about the availability of the Arts Center. Mr. Genellie said he would check on it.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 9:50
p.m.
