AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, August 16, 2011
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. Present were Mayor Maxwell and
Council Members Brausen, Halverson, Rowan and Youakim. Staff present was Finance Director
Christine Harkess.
Council Member Brausen inquired as to the status of the conversations with the Watershed
District and the Blake St/Lake St properties. There is a meeting on Wednesday to work out an
agreement.
Mr. Brausen also asked that staff be informed that he is unable to attend the LRT meeting in St.
Louis Park that is scheduled for Thursday at 1:30 pm due to his work schedule.
The council informed Ms. Harkess of their intent to attend the Police Reserve Banquet. She
stated she will forward their RSVP to the Police Department.
The council informed Ms. Harkess of their availability to attend the annual city picnic scheduled
for Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Valley Park.
There being no further business Council member Halverson moved and Council Member
Youakim seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
7:55 p.m.
