RESOLUTION NO. 86-6
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDMENTS
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BOND
WHEREAS, a proposal has been made to this Council by the
Borrower mentioned below to enter into certain amendments to the
City's outstanding Industrial Development Revenue Bond (Standal
Project), issued in the original principal amount of $900,000 (
the"Bond"), pursuant to the Minnesota Municipal Industrial
Development Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474 ( the "Act");
and
WHEREAS, the Project for which the bond was issued has been
completed and is being operated substantially as initially
proposed; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that this Council conduct a public
hearing on said proposal and publish notice of said public
hearing not less than 14 days prior to the date fixed for the
hearing;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. A public hearing shall be conducted by this Council on
the proposal to enter into certain amendments to the Bond, all to
be described in a draft Agreement to be placed on file with the
City Clerk prior to said public hearing, said hearing to be held
on February 18, 1986 at 7:30 o'clock P.M, at the City Hall, at
which hearing all parties who appear shall be given an
opportunity to express their views with respect to said proposal.
2. Notice setting forth the time and place of hearing, the
purpose thereof, and a general description of the outstanding
Bond and project, which project was originally undertaken by John
B. Standal and has since been transferred to Western Properties,
a Minnesota general partnership (the Borrower), shall be
published at least once not less than 14 days prior to the date
fixed for the hearing, in the official newspaper and a newspaper
of general circulation in the City.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins on the 21st
day of January, 1986.
