RESOLUTION NO. 86-10
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING
FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 84-3174 of the Council
adopted December 18, 1984, a report has been prepared by John Strojan,
City Engineer, with reference to Fourth Street North between 19th
Avenue North and 21st Avenue North by concrete curb and gutter; storm
sewer and asphalt surface thereon and this report was received by the
Council on February 4, 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS,
MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street
in accordance with the report and the assessment of Lots 15 thru 29,
inclusive, Block 2, Lots 1 thru 30 inclusive, Block 3 and Lots 1 thru
30, inclusive, Block 4, all in West Minneapolis Third Division; Parcels
23-117-22 13 0001, 23-117-22 13 0002, 23-117-22 13 0003, 23-117-22 13 0004,
which parcels are the easterly 168 feet of the Southwest Quarter (SW -I,)
of the Northeast Quarter (NE,) lying south of State Highway #7 and north
of West Park Addition for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $20,670 for street construction
and asphalt surface, $4,656 for concrete curb and gutter, and $3,250 for
storm sewer; and will further consider the market value before and after
said improvement, of the property affected thereby.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement
on the 15th day of April, 1986 in the Council Chambers of the City
Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of
such hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this
4th day of February, 1986.
