1986-68WHEREAS, Dick Wilson has worked for the City of Hopkins
from October 16, 1961 to the present, serving as Park and
Recreation Director, and
WHEREAS, over that period, Dick has worked unselfishly
to improve the recreation programs and facilities available
to the community, and
WHEREAS, Dick's excellence in his field was recently
demonstrated by his receipt of the Outstanding Professional
Award of the Great Lakes Regional Council of the National
Recreation and Park Association, and
WHEREAS, the City _Council wishes to recognize Dick's
outstanding service to the community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City
Council hereby commends Dick Wilson for his twenty-five
years of dedicated serve to.the City of Hopkins, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that he be presented with this
Resolution as a demonstration of the City's sincere
appreciation.
