1997-088 � CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, NIINNESOTA RESOLUTION 97-88 RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED 1997 TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 1998, ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY 1998 BUDGET, AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be levied for the current year collectible in 1998 upon the taxable property in said City of Hopkins, for the following purposes. General Fund $4,495,484 Equipment Replacement Fund $ 485,000 General Obligation Bonds $ 240,000 Improvement Bonds 90 000 Total Levy $5,310,484 This levy is made based on current law and the 1998 General Fund Budget of $7,091,300. Provision has been made for the payment of the City's contributory share to the Public Employees Q Retirement Association. Provision has also been made for the payment of principal and interest on the following bond issues: Redevelopment Bonds 1-1-97 Improvement Revolving Bonds 3-1-90* G.O. Sewer•Revenue Bonds 12-1-89 & Refunded 10-15-93 Redevelopment Bonds 10-1-96 Redevelopment Bonds 12-1-89 & Refunded 10-15-93 Refunding Bonds (Taxable) 2-1-92 Park Bonds 3-1-90* & Refunded 10-15-93* Improvement Revolving Bonds 8-1-92* . Refunding Bonds 3-1-90 & Refunded 10-15-93 Housing Bonds 9-1-95 *Levy Housing Bonds 6-1-97 Public hearing date for the 1998 budget is December 15, 1997. BE IT FURTI�R RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota. Redepenning, Mayo ATTEST: � < � Te O aier, City Clerk � CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 97-88 RESOLUTION FOR AWARD OF BID EMERGENCY VEHICLE PREEMPTION SYSTEM CITY PRO7ECT 97-06 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, that the bid of Electrical Installation & Maintenance in the amount of $18,940.00 is the lowest responsible bid for installation of emergency vehicle preemption signal improvements, City Project 97-06, and the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder for and on behalf of the City. Award of bid shall be contingent upon final plan approval from the Minnesota State Aid Office.
