78-2662 CITY OF H.PkINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 71 -2662 A RESOLUTION ORDERIN (REPARATION OF ENGINEERS REPORT 0 IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS IT IS ORDERED BY THE C1ty Council that consideration be given to Blake Road North from Cam ridge Street to a point approx- mately 330 feet North by the extensio7 of sanitary sewer and watermain thereon and the assessment of benefitting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY III OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, that the pr•po ed improvement be referred to John Strojan, City Engineer, for s•ud and he is instructed to report with all convenient speed advising th Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improve'en s are feasible and as to whether they should best be made as propos :d or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cos. of the improvements as recommended. WHEREAS, the Counc 1 is required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 473.851, et to administer the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, hereinaf erg referred to as the "Act," which requires local governmental uni s within the Metropolitan Area to prepare comprehensive plans; a d • WHEREAS, the Minne =ota Legislature by Laws 1976, Chapter 167, has made availabl- and required the Council to administer a fund to be utilized o assist local governments in the carrying out of required plann ig in the form of Planning Assistance Grants; and • WHEREAS the Counc 1 desires to assist the Grantee in carrying out required comprehe sive planning in accordance with the Act. NOW THEREFORE, th Council and Grantee agree as follows: 1. A. The Counc 1 nhall pay to the Grantee, in accor- dance wit the schedule set forth below, a total grant amo nthof $ 3,873.00 .
