RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVE1 N AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS
WHEREAS a Resolution of the City Co , ci] No. 78 -2663 adopted the 7th
day of March, 1978, fixed a date for a hearing qn the proposed improvement of
6th Avenue South from 3rd Street South to 5to S reet South: 5th Street South
from 2nd Avenue South to 7th Avenue South by th 1 installation of curb and
gutter, sidewalk, storm sewer, watermain and street surfacing thereon, the total
cost thereof being $57,220.00 for street sur ac' ng; $20,562.00'for storm sewer
$36,460.00'for watermain; $22,223.00' for cur' d gutter; $9,028.06 for side -
walk, and
WHEREAS all property owners whose pr.'pety is liable to be assessed
for the making of these improvements were gi en ten days published notice of
the council hearing through two weekly publi at.ons of the required notice, and
a hEaring was held and the property owners herd thereon on the 2nd day of May,
1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th- C uncil of the City of Hopkins;
1. Such improvement is hereby order-d As proposed in the Council
Resolution No. 78 -2663 adopted March 7th, 19 8.
2. That John Strojan, City Engineer, i hereby designated as the
110 Engineer for this improvement and he shall p epare plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement
Adopted by the City Council of the C'ty of Hopkins, Minnesota, this
2nd day of May, 1978.
