A RESOL ION DECLARING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE OWNED BY
THE CITY F HOPKINS PREVIOUSLY USED AS A PART OF THE
SANIT LANDFILL AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND ORDERING
I AND AUTHORIZING Tf� SALE THEREOF
WfIE , the City of Hopkins is the present owner of the follow-
ing described emises situated in the City of Hopkins, viz:
That parti f Section 25, Township 117, Range 22, described as follows:
Beginning� t the point of intersection of the centerline of 7th Street
South ext ded westerly, with the southeasterly line of the Chicago,
. Milwaukee� St. Paul � Pacific Railroad, thence southeasterly at right
angles tol e soutlieasterly line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul
� Pacific ilroad a distance of 150 feet, thence northeasterly to
a point i the centerline of 7th Street South 250.82 feet east of the
Chicago, 'lwaukee, St. Paul � Pacific Railroad, thence westerly to
the pointl f beginning.
That parti f Section 25, Township 117, Range 22, described as follows:
Beginning t the point of intersection of the centerline of 7th Street
South, ex nded westerly, with the southeasterly line of the Chicago,
Milwaukee� St. Paul � Pacific Ra.ilroad, thence southwesterly along the
southeast rly line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul � Pacific Rail-
road a di tance of 200 feet, thence southeasterly at right angles to
the south asterly line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul � Pacific
Ra.ilroad distance of 150 feet, thence northeasterly along a line
parallel o and 150 feet southeasterly of the southeasterly line of
the Chica o, Milwaukee, St. Paul � Pacific Railroad, thence north-
westerly 50 feet to the point of beginning.
WHE , said property was originally acc{uired for the purpose of
use as a part f the Hopkins sanitary landfill, and said portion of the land-
� fill has now b en com�letely filled and no longer necessary for any public
purpose. I
NOW, Tf-�EREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the
City of Hopkir� , as follows:
l. � at the above described premises be and the same are hereby
dsfined and lared to be surplus property no longer necessary for the
City, or publi use.

2. at said above described premises be offered for sale and
sold subject t a reservation in the City of Hopkins of easements across
designated por ons of said premises for public utilities.
3. at said sale shall be pursuant to law upon bids after public
notice thereof o the hig}Zest responsible bidder.
