RESOLUTION REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR
MINNESOTA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY HOME IMPROVE-

N FUNDS FOR IMPLEMENTATION WITH THE
CITY OF HOPKI S
N .
W EREAS, the City of Hopkins, Minnesota desires to
�
assist low � homeowners in making repairs to their homes
for the pur�ose of correcting defects affecting directly the safety,
habitabilit�, or energy usage of the property; and
W$�EREAS, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency has funds
to be used �lor such purposes, and will accept application from
counties de� to administer these Home Improvement Grant Program
• funds;
BE�!IT RESOLVED, that Hennepin County is hereby requested
to include t�l�e City of Hopkins, Minnesota in an application for
Minnesota Ho��ising Finance Agency Home Improvement Grant Program funds,
and that upo� approval of such application, the City and the County
will enter i�}to an agreement for operating the program within the City.
