A RESOLUTION REQUIRING TI� CONTINUAN(� OF
'I� SERVICES OF THE HINNEPIN COUNTY M[A�IICIPAL
COURT IN Tf� CITY OF HOPKINS PURSUANT TO
M.S.A. SECI'ION 488A.01, SUBDIVISION 9(b)
Wf� , the City of Hopkins, a mtmicipality of and in Hennepin
Cotmty, Minneso a, has for many years been one of the locations providing
and holding the�Hennepin Cotmty M�micipal Court in the City of Hopkins
for trials of t affic and criminal violations before the Court without a
jury pursuant t M.S.A. Section 488A.01, Subdivision 9(b), and

WI� , said Section 488A.01, Subdivision 9(b) has been amended
by a reorganiza ion of such Court sessions and the elimination thereof in
the City of Hop ins,subject, however, to a proper Resolution by the City
of Hopkins to e Hennepin CoLmty Board within 30 days from and after
August 1, 1978, requesting and requiring the continuance of such Court
� services in the City of Hopkins. �
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the Co�cil of the
City of Hopkins that said City of Hopkins hereby rec{uires and reauests
the continuance of such Hennepin CoLmty M�icipal Court services as
heretofore pro ded in said City, and hereby petitions the Hennepin County
Board for the ntinuation of such Court and services in the City of
Hopkins, all as provided and set forth in M.S.A. Sbat�:can 488A.01, Sub-
division 9(b), s now amended.
Be i further resolved that a copy of this Resolution shall be
inur►ediately tr mitted to the Hennepin Cotmty Board of Co�nissioners as
in the law pro ded.
Pass d and adopted by the City Cotimcil of the City of Hopkins,
Nlinnesota, at regular meeting held on the 15tn day of August, 1978, by
