AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, August 21, 2012
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:05 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:
x Mayor Maxwell x City Manager Mike Mornson
x Council Member Jason Gadd x Council Member Cheryl Youakim
x Council Member Kristi Halverson x Council Member Molly Cummings
Council member Jason Gadd updated the Council on the LRT Community Works Groups. He
stated that LRT will be marketing each LRT Stations.
Council member Jason Gadd stated that Yellow Ribbon's Kick-off is at 5:30 pm at the VFW on
September 11, 2012, which is located at 100 Shady Oak Road.
Council member Cheryl Youakim stated that the Minnetonka Rotary event is on September Stn
this year.
Council member Halverson mentioned that there were a lot of people in downtown Hopkins this
past weekend with the Rib -Fest.
City Managers stated that the next Council meeting will be September 4th with a Work Session
before at 6:15 pm in the Raspberry Room.
City Managers stated that the September 1 lth Work Session will be held at Creekside Apartments
which is located at 1328 Lake Street NE at 7:00 pm.
City Managers stated that Jerry Steiner and Wynn Curtiss discussed the city attorney
arrangement both currently and in the future with Jason Hutchison no longer with the firm.
There being no further business Council member Gadd moved and Council Member Youakim
seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 9:30 p.m.
