AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, February 5, 2012
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:10 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:

Council Member Molly Cummings

Council member Molly Cummings discussed the Yellow Ribbon Committee and the Caring
Youth awards.
Mayor Maxwell stated that Empty Bowls is on March 12, 2013.
City Manager Mike Mornson gave the following updates:
• Reviewed a parking study with other staff for downtown, council felt it was a good idea
to conduct a parking study.
• Approved using Think Hopkins money for a tarp for the Raspberry Float that goes all
over the state.
• Discussed going on a tour to check out some developer work in another community that
maybe interested in doing work in Hopkins.
• Handed out the survey and told them to get back to Jim by the end of the day Wednesday.
There being no further business Council member Youakim moved to adjourn the meeting and
Council Member Cummings seconded the motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by
unanimous consent at 8:50 p.m.
