RESOLUTION NO. 2012-065
RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING
2013 STREET AND UTILTY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 2012-10
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed the City Engineer to prepare a
report with reference to the aforesaid improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has caused to be prepared the aforesaid report for
improvements on Monroe, Jackson, Van Buren, & Harrison Avenues South; 1St and 2" Streets
South; the access road to the Blake Water Tower; and trail repairs from Blake Road to
Washington Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total
cost of $6,100,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on Tuesday, the
18t day of September, 2012 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 1010
First Street South at 7:30 P.M and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of said hearing and improvements as required by law.
