AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, April 16, 2013
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:20 P.M.
Present at the meeting were:

Council member Molly Cummings stated that the Hopkins Youth Hockey is donating to the
Burnes Park project.
City Manager Mike Mornson gave the following updates:
• Media and Presentation Trainer, Mary Milla came to the City of Hopkins fire station to
provide training on presentations on April 16, 2013. Staff was invited to this training.
• There is a lot of work going on around the city with high visible projects.
• Discussed an alumni event for Citizens Academy for this fall.
• Reviewed the new goal sheet for the City of Hopkins.
• Will have two items for next week's Work Session.
• May change policy on Conduit Bonds
• Discussed the parking study, parking ramp, Shady Oak Road construction schedule,
SWLRT operation and maintenance facility and all the development currently going on in
Hopkins.
There being no further business Council member Halverson moved to adjourn the meeting and
Council member Youakim seconded the motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by
unanimous consent at 9:30 p.m.
