AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, June 4, 2013
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at I0:00p.m.
Present at the meeting were:

Council Member Youakim: SWLRT steering meeting will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2013.
Council Member Halverson: Asked questions on inspections comment cards.
City Manager, Mike Mornson gave the following updates:
• Director of Planning and Economic Development, Kersten Elverum provided updates on
Southwest Light Rail next steps as well as development progress update.
• Public Works Director, Steve Stadler provided updates on the Lift station project as well
as update on landfill.
• Mike provided updates on conferences and upcoming issues for future council meetings.
• Mike congratulated the city staff for all their hard work in becoming a Step 3 Green Step
City.
• Mike discussed the financial management plan with Ehlers and it will start August of this
year at a council meeting.
• Mike informed the council of his monthly meetings with the Art Center staff and rental
income looks much better than in previous years and the staff is working hard to fill the
gaps as well as the upcoming art fair.
There being no further business Council Member Halverson moved and Council Member
Youakim seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
10:45 pm.
