RESOLUTION 2013-073
RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEERING AGREEMENT
2014 HOBBY ACRES STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the all or portions of the following streets are in need of reclamation:
Farmdale Road, Wayside Road, Campbell Road, Althea Lane, Hazel Lane, and Hollyhock
Lane; and
WHEREAS, drainage improvements are needed on 13th Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, the trail at Hopkins Crossroads is in poor condition; and
WHEREAS, the Zion Lutheran Church parking lot is in need of reconstruction and is
also used by the community for Burnes Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota, that the proposed improvements be referred to the firm Bolton & Menk,
Inc. for study, design, final plan preparation and construction services. And that the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to execute the proposal contained in the council
report.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 19th day of November, 2013.
