11-12-2013 Canvass Election ResultsA special meeting of the Election Canvass Board was held on November 12, 2013, at the
Hopkins City Hall. Present were Mayor Maxwell, Council Members Cummings, Halverson and
Youakim. Also, present were staff members Mornson, Luedke, Bradford, Stadler and Elverum.
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting of the Election Canvass Board to order at 6:35 p.m.
The City Clerk explained that the City Council was meeting as the Election Canvass Board to
certify the results of the City Election held on November 5, 2013. The City Clerk read the
statistics and results.
Council Member Cummings moved and Council Member Halverson seconded a motion to
accept the submitted Election Abstract of Votes Cast at the Election held on Tuesday, November
5, 2013, and declare the results reported on the abstract to be the official results. A poll of the
vote was as follows: Council Member Youakim, aye; Council Member Cummings, aye; Council
Member Halverson, aye; Mayor Maxwell, aye. The motion carried.
Council Member Cummings moved and Council Member Youakim seconded a motion to
adjourn the meeting of the Election Canvassing Board. The meeting was adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
