12-03-2013 WSMINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, December 3, 2013
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m.
Present at the meeting were:
x Mayor Maxwell x City Manager Mike Morrison
x Council Member Jason Gadd x Council Member Cheryl Youakim
x Council Member Molly Cummings x Council Member Kristi Halverson
Council member Gadd inquired about E -Cigarettes and on the proposal for Edina.
Council member Youakim stated that there will be a SWLRT meeting on December 4th in St.
Louis Park.
City Manager.Morrison update:
• City Manager stated that he would like staff, and police to monitor traffic on Hopkins
Crossroads and Cambridge/Oxford Street
• City Manager informed the Council that John Bradford will be leaving us to take a position
with the City of Woodbury.
• City Manager stated that the goal setting for this year is tentatively set for January 17th at Oak
Ridge Country Club from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• City Manager reviewed the State of the City with the Council
There being no further business Council member Cummings moved and Council member
Youakim seconded a motion to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at
9:00 pm.
